I've been killing myself for a while now over how to get the affect in these icons:

The incredibly shiny, smooth, yet sharp skin? I've searched the memories and went back a few pages, but I couldn't find anything that was quite what I'm looking for. =/ Would anyone know how to get this effect in Paint Shop Pro 9? :) Thanks so much in advance! ♥
