I have a strange combination of problems with PS7 - it's just started recently, and I couldn't find anything helpful in the memories. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Firstly, the size of my pictures is strange - normally, I would crop my picture to 100 x 100, and perhaps in the progress of making an icon, I'd want to reduce it to 40 x 40. Normally to do this, I'd go to Image - Image Size, and change the numbers in the document height and width to 40. My Photoshop seems to have decided to make the default measurement centimetres, but whenever I try to change the units then the meauremants, the units and measurements themselves change, but the image stays the same size. Also, I have my resolution set at 72, but whenever I change the units of measurement, this changes the resolution. I can change one or the other, but not both. I hope I've explained this clearly enough...
My other problem is than whenever I try to add text to one particular set of bases taken from the same picture, rather than a text box appearing, the whole screen fills with pink. I've successfully added text to the image before, and I can add text to other images open at the same time, but for some reason, instead of text, I get a pink fill - and none of my colours are set to pink! I'm very bewildered!
I've tried restarting Photoshop, and nothing has changed for the better. I would love you forever if you can help me! Thanks!
