Recently, I was asked how I got the smooth skin effect even if the skin in the original image was a bit...spotty/crap(? If that's the right word). In response, I told them I used the History Tool rather than the Blur Tool and I got a confused look in return. So therefore, I thought I'd write a tutorial on how to use the History Tool to retouch an image:
