My Third Tutorial :)

Pretty simple. Basic skills...let's get ON with it already.
1. Let's start now, and not waste time, yeah?
This is your base after you have cropped the image to 70x100 and resized it to 70x100 as well.
2. This isn't really a step unless your particular image is completely coloured (My picture of Brandon Flowers had a tinge but not fully coloured). If it is, lower your saturation down to -70 or something around that. Also if your image is too dark, duplicate and set the layer to screen.
3. Drag your image to a blank 100x100 pixel canvas and shove it to the side. But don't exit your original.
4. Sharpen Edges. This should now be your icon.

5. Create a new layer and floodfill with 0E0828. Set to exclusion at around 40% opacity to have a nice colour at the back of your image.

6. Create a new layer and floodfill with E2FDD9. Set to soft light at around 30% opacity to brighten the image.

7. Create a new layer and floodfill with FDF1D9. Set to soft light or colour burn at whatever opacity suits your image. For this particular icon I set it to 10% but for similar ones it was higher.
8. Flatten image. This just tidies it up a bit.
9. Go back to your original image and desaturate it.
10. Drag your original image to your icon and set to soft light at 30% opacity or higher.

11. Flatten image. Drag this layer onto your icon. I'm really sorry but I don't know who made it. If someone could enlighten me that would be great.

12. Flip it occording to you image (Yes, I cater to all). Set it to soft light at 50% opacity. (Lighten for a dark image also works well).

13. On your base layer, erase the blank space so it turns from a pale greeny white to white.
14. Type "like lovers do" (well not on YOUR icon but for the purpose of this tutorial) in Black/Arial Black/13 pt. Rotate your text layer 180 degrees to fit it into the white space.

15. Drag this layer onto your icon (or make your own tiny text) No idea who made this one either.

16. Set it to exlcusion. Flip it to match your text. Erase the '&'
17. Flatten image and save.

With this tutorial I have also made these sexy icons.

If you are going to use any of the icons used in this tutorial all I ask is credit.
Comments would be greatly appreciated.
I would LOVE to see what you make with this.
Goodnight :D.
