Going Crazy Trying To Screen Cap (using WMP 10 or WinDVD4)
I have two different programs on my computer for playing DVDs: WinDVD4 and Windows Media Player 10. My issue with WinDVD isn't directly related to capping, but it's irritating, and WMP is frustrating.
I have the full version of WinDVD, so I can indeed screen cap, but for some reason it's not playing any sound. It's tried cutting out once before, but restarting my computer fixed it that time, but this time it won't work. The speakers are connected and working - I can use iTunes, and WMP plays the sounds on my DVD - but the silence while capping drives me mad. Any ideas on how to get the sound to work again?
Is there any way to screen cap with WMP 10? I Googled up this tutorial, but when it says "Uncheck Use Overlays" that's not checked in the first place on my program. I've tried pausing it, setting video acceleration to none, and using either print screen or the Screen Capture option in GIMP, but everytime I do when I open my image in GIMP, it still has the video running.
Any help will be appreciated :-)
