Missing asian fonts in PS

Hi there,



Well I'm kinda having a similar problem to snm_queen at this post,
only my problem is that the Japanese and Chinese Fonts I've downloaded
aren't showing up in the font list in english or in the native script.
I've checked the PS CS (the version I'm using) help site and followed
the instruction regarding the text settings but I haven't had any luck.
The fonts appear in Word right at the bottom of the list and work fine,
and I even tried copying and pasting from Word to PS but it didn't work
and only set the font to one that had a English name but could write in
asian.



I also have Global IME and I know how to use it. But this is the first
time I've tried to use asian fonts that aren't the defaults set on the
computer.



Help please?
