Not 100% icon related but I do use foreign fonts a lot in my icons
I am having troubles with the installation my Japanese fonts into my new laptop (and yes I have the Global IME program although I'm not sure if that's related).
I downloaded fonts from here and installed them like I did with my English fonts from dafont.com, cut and pasted them into the Fonts folder. (C Drive>Windows>Fonts) However, unlike on my older laptop, the Japanese fonts installed as English fonts rather than Asian fonts. And so whenever I change the language bar from English to Japanese, )so that I can type in the latter language) I am unable to type in Japanese with the downloaded fonts and can only use them when the language bar is set to English. Is there a way to force the fonts to install as Asian fonts or am I doing something wrong? I've seen icons before with the fonts I'm using (specifically
teh_indy) so I know it's possible.
