Problem: Rectangularl Marquee Tool
It seems I can't fix the easiest of problems <.<
Problem: I select a portion of an image with the marquee tool. Once highlighted, the corners turn circular.
Screen shot:

Program: Photoshop PS CS
Any idea how to get back to my perfect rectangle corners? I don't want the corners to curve.
Question: I know this has been asked some odd times and yes I've checked the memories, but I got frustrated because I can't seem to find this. Could someone direct me to where to get the tutorial for grey backgrounds? Like when someone posts their icons, they always have a sort of grey canvas on them.
