Gradients

I downloaded a ton of gradients, and they are sitting in my gradients folder in my PSP9. My question is this: Can I somehow install the gradients into the program, so that I don't have to copy and paste them onto icons? They don't show up in my gradient palette, even though my textures and my brushes show up in their respective places. It's not that I really mind doing it, but if I wanted to put a brush on the icon, using the colors from the gradient, I can't do it. Is this possible?

ETA: They are .jpg and .png files, so I guess I can't install them. Thank you though! I will keep this post as a reference, in case I do download .grd files!
