PS - full icon tutorial - colors, blend modes, base prep
Yes, I know I seem to be making more tutorials than icons lately. But I've been teaching my friends to make icons, so these tutorials are mostly for them. But I'm also posting them publicly so other beginning iconmakers can benefit from them as well.
I couldn't resist doing a tutorial for the following icon because I really loved the soft candlelight look... I stumbled upon purely by accident. :) That's how I end up with a lot of cool effects, actually... pure luck. I encourage you to experiment with different gradients, blend modes, etc. should you decide to follow this tutorial. As usual, I'd love to see what y'all come up with!</p>
