Tutorial #2 PS7
WOW! I'm on #2! I'm on a roll! (except totally not)
this is Tutorial #2 for me and you will learn under the cut below how to make this:

ohkay so....
we are going to make this: icon (in case you forgot).
yes, i realize it is the forbidden harry/hermione hug. (i wish harry was hugging ron...) and in which harry looks constipated.
Step 1: image effect
a. pick your picture
ME:
b. go to Image--> adjustments --> Auto Level/Auto Contrast/Auto Color (i picked all three cause i am cool like that!)
c. go to image--> Adjustments--> Brightness/Contrast. up the contrast and lower the brightness.
d. duplicate the background layer
e. go to filter--> Blur--> Radical Blur change the settings to 10 on spin and good. adjust the center as you like it (the big ass image on the pop-up)
f. it looks ugly, right? don't you fret! change that weird looking image to Hard Light/Screen/Soft Light (Whatever you think works best for your picture) i used Hard Light.
Step 2: Image color
a. add a new layer and fill it with the infamouse dark blue exclusion color. I used 04103C.
b. add another layer, and fill that with a light peachy color and set it to multiply. I used FFCC99.
c. add ANOTHER layer, and fill that with a light light aqua and set it to color burn. I used A8F5F6.
d. Duplicate that color burn layer and set it to color and to opacity 20%.
Step 3: the icon
a. merge layers together.
b. crop the image as you want to at 100x100 pixels
c. add a new layer, and pick out a box brush, with your color at white, put it in a corner, or where ever you feel to put it.
d. and..... YOUR DONE!!! AGH!!!!
