I have PSP 9, and I know you are not supposed to preface your request by calling yourself an idiot but I think I should have been able to figure this out by now.

When I try to resize high res photos to 100x100 they out looking all pixely.

Like when I try to make this into this . Or this to this.

Is there a way to either A) correct this or B)crop differentley so to avoid this happening. I know it must be possible as other people have made gorgeous icons using the same photos but for the life of me I am clueless.

As of now I am just using the crop tool and then resizing by Image>resize. Thanks in advance.
