brushes

I have PSP8, and i dled these brushes from

all the brushes are in .abr format (i guess you would say) and when i went to File>Import>Custom Brush... then i tried to open and import the file it wouldnt let me because,
".abr is a newer formatted version and is unsupported"
is there a way to get around this so I can use these brushes? Thanks <3
