Help please

Hello Everyone,

I came across this icon a few days ago, and I was just wondering how they got this certain style. It looks so clean and sharp. But the thing I want to know is how they got the colours. It looks brighter and a little bit of yellow. It seems to simple, but I can't seem to do it. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it.

I know they aren't the same pictures, but if there is anyway to get this picture to look similar to the icon it would be fantastic.
