Emma Watson Tut

Hey! How to go from to ! This is my first tutorial.. so I hope it's found useful to some of you :) and if I did anything wrong, please tell me!


Okay, first, I take my picture (that i got from Unforgivable-Curses.net) and I crop it to 100x100 and sharpen it.



Next I duplicate the image twice and set the first duplicate to Screen, and the next to Soft Light.



Now I made a new raster layer and filled it with a dark blue and set it to exclusion. (I used #011637)



Exclusion layers come in so handy! Now, I leave this picture for a minute and I get 3 pictures of Emma.



I cropped them down to 46x46 and I sharpened them. For each picture, I made a new raster layer and filled it with a beige colour and set it to Multiply (I used (#dac49b). Then I made a new raster layer and filled it with another dark blue exclusion layer. Then I merged all.

Next, I added those 3 small pictures to my big picture of Emma.



I took some brushes (that hade already came with PSP9) and put them at white, and added them, seperating the small pictures apart, and from the big one.



Then I merged all, and put another beige mulitply layer, and another dark blue exclusion layer.



I merged all, sharpened it and added a brush.



And there you go! Mostly beige mulitply layers and blue exclusions. I hope this was helpful at all!
