Question on turning a color photo into a black and white photo!!!

I was wondering how I might be able to turn a color photo into a black and white photo. Not a color photo into a gray scale photo. I need it to be basic black and white. Not grayish tones!!! I have Print Shop Pro 9 and no I didn't look a the memories because I don't have the time right now to do that. I need to know how to do this very soon!!! Thank you in advance to anyone that helps!!!
