Question on Crediting Textures/Brushes....

I was wondering how you credit people for textures and brushes. Do you just put a note in your user info that any icons/banners you make could have a texture/brush made by "so and so". Or do you have to credit them in each icon, like "this icon made by me, brushes by "so and so"?
