My first tutorial, so be gentle on me. :)

We'll be going from to , using PSP9. I'm sure it can be translated to other programs, though.

Okay, so I started with <this</a> image of Beck, and then I cropped it to my liking, and resized it to 100 by 100. I sharpened the image, and duplicated it. I set the duplicated layer to Overlay. On the duplicated layer, I went to Ajust > Hue and Saturation > Hue/Satruation/Lightness and set Saturation to -50. After that I went to Ajust > Automatic Contrast Enhancement and set it to Darker, Normal, and Bold. I then went to Automatic Satruation Enhancement, and set it to Normal and Normal, with skintones present. This is what I have so far:

Next I paste This as a new layer inbetween my two exsisting layers and set it to Saturation, 100 percent.

On top in everything I paste a light green layer (#e6f9c0) and set it to Multiply. I get this:

Next I paste a dark blue layer (#0f1229) and set it to Exclusion. Next I add this and set it to Satruation at 60 percent, and this on Soft Light at 100 percent. Merge all the layers. (these were found at whitetomb.)

I then add brush by peasanticons.

Lastly, I add this border layer and set it to Multiply. Merge.

and voila. :)

(P.S: If some of the pictures don't show, try refreshing the page. Photobucket is being evil on me.)
