Text in PS7 - leading isn't working

I use PS7. Lately when I'm putting text on an icon, the leading isn't working (I always make sure the resolution is 72). Even with the leading on 0 pt and text on 6 pt, the space between text lines is A LOT wider than it should be. I can't figure out what I've done wrong. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!
