Beverly Tutorial (PSP9)
This is my first tutorial so please excuse any mistakes. =)
Today we'll be making this
with PSP9
I started with this
As you can see it's not the best quality but in the end it makes it look very sharpened and cool.
Crop the image, right now I'm in this phase of finding pictures where they're looking to the side like this, sharpen more (Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen More) resize the image to 100x100.
Select the soften tool and smooth over her skin. For this image I had the hardness of the tool to 100.
Duplicate and set to Screen.
Then merge (Layers>Merge>Merge Down)
Duplicate again and desaturate by -75 (keyboard command shift-h) set to burn at 60
New layer set to color and flood fill with black, erase areas you don't wish to be desaturated and play with the opacity. I set mine to 86.
New layer using this brush
(I'm sorry I don't know who made it. It was in my random brushes folder)
Now merge all (Layers>Merge>Merge All)
and you should have something like this
Questions? Comments?
Hope you find it usefull!
