Hmm... question?

Okay, so here's the thing. I have used about five or six brushes in an icon but now I realize that I'd like to change the color (I used them all in black) to something lighter, to fit more the theme of the icon. I don't want to have to redo everything because I'm not even sure which brushes I used, but I have no idea how to change the color from black to, say, purple. Help? Thanks. *g*
