Psp8 question - Missing stuff kinda thing.

I tried to put the question on the picture, but you probably cant see it.

Anyways, there used to be an X around the top right corner to close things quickly. Its gone.
Also, i cant change my sharpen brush to a smooth.
Does anyone know how to fix this? <3
