My first tutorial!!!

This is my first tut ever , so please be kind and patient :)

Now we're going to make this icon



Now we're going to make this icon ;

Step : 1 Crop this pic to 100x100 pixles;



step 2: then filter>sharpen once.

Step 3 : Duplicate the pic twice and set mode to screen and on the 2nd copy lower the saturation to -30

this is ur base layer;



step : 4 now create a new layer and fill it with this navy blue #02074A and set to Exlcusion 100%

This what you get;

Step 5: Again Create another layer and fill it with this orange #F0A87B and set the mode to multiply at 50%

Result;

Step 6: create another layer and fill with this beig #D6C0A9 set again to multiply at 45%

Result;

Step 7: Now duplicate ur base layer and drag it all the way to the top , above all the layers and set it to soft light at 100% then destaurate it (Image adjusments >desatuarte)

Step 8: where all the fun begins lol , now I made those rectangles how? very simple just simply make a new layer still on top of all the layers and then grap the rectangualr marquee tool and make a small recantgle depending on what u wanna write for ur text
I made three 3 recangles to fit my text , I filled the recangtles with that color : #F0D4A7 then lowered the opacity to 39% to make it look creative :)

So now I have my empty rectangles then write the text :)

Step 9: I wrote "Beauty in the" with font called "Bert" it's avaibalbe at dafont.com btw ,using this color #3C2000 , so we want to be more creactive so I set the mode to linear burn and lower the opacity to 74%
As for the word "Breakdown" I used the font "Century gothic" same color and same mode set :)

Almost there :)

Step 10: add some brushes I added some spaltter brushes made by the wonderful dearest I believe so , if not please tell me so as to credit you.

It doesn't look too sharp or smooth to me , so I'm gonna do this step;

Step 11: Take the blur tool set at 30% with a 7 rounded brush and go all over her face to smoothen it a little which layers? the base layer and the destaurated softlight layer , then to make it stand out a little take the sharpen tool at 10% with a 7 rounded brush and carefully go over her eyes and lips.

Step:12 now create a new empty layer and then copy all the layers together and paste it into that new layer then set the mode to softlight 80% if u feel like the color is too much u can lower the saturation to -30

Phew!! that's it lol!!

So c'mon go make it and let me see what u've done but don't exactly copy it :)
