Three new tutorials all made in PS7.

I've got three tutorials for you under their respective cuts.




Tutorial #1

Going from this: to this:

First I took the cap, cropped, resized, the usual:

Then I duplicated the base, desaturated it and set it to screen:

I took this gradient: I don't remember whos it is though, sorry, and set it to Soft Light at 100%:

I took this texture: and set it on Soft Light at 100% again, then I erased the part that was covering her face:

Then I took the trendy text tool on MacHumaine, white, size 18 and typed up "Brook":






Tutorial #2

Going from this: to this:

First we take the cap, thanks to the Adrianne Leon Fan Site, crop, resize, all that usual stuff:

Next, I took this texture from Of The Sky. I liked it because it gave that sort of grungy feel, and the grungy/rocker syle is very Brooklynn. I set it to Overlay at 100% and moved it around until I got it how I liked it:

I took another sort of grungy texture from the same site, set it to Multiply at 100% and positioned it:

I went back and duplicated the base, moved it to the top of the layers, then desaturated it and put it to Screen 50%. I didn't like how it faded the background, so I erased all of the layer except for Brook and Dillon:

I put a one pix. black border around the icon, then I took my trendy text tool using Nebraska size 10 in white and typed up "Uncle Dillon & Brook", because whenever Brook calls Dillon 'Uncle Dillon' it makes me laugh since he's only a few months older than her, but he's still her uncle:






Tutorial #3

Going from this: to this:

First we take the cap, thanks to the Adrianne Leon Fan Site, crop, resize, all that usual stuff:

Next, I took this texture from Of The Sky. I put it on Screen at 100%. I really liked the color it gave the icon:

I took this texture and put it on Linear Burn at 100%:

Then pull out the text tool, Impact size 12 in black and typed up Brook's name:



I'd love to see what you guys come up with.
