PSP9

Here's my first tutorial, tell me what you think!

From  to  using PSP9

1.Crop and resize to 100x100

2.Use the soften tool on his face(avoiding lips and eyes)
Settings: Hardness(100) step(32) opacity(100)
yeah, it looks really blurry, but that will get fixed later

3.Duplicate the base and go to Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Hue/Saturation/Lightness and set the Saturation to -78. Set this layer to Soft light.

4.Merge(flatten) your 2 layers

5.Create a new layer.Pick a color for the eyes. I used something along the lines of #834605. take your paintbrush and go over the eyes

Set this layer to Overlay

5.Use this Gradient  (I'm pretty sure it comes with PSP9) and set it to Overlay

6. Use this brush (made by brokenicon) in white. leave it at normal.
