Problem...

hello everyone. this may sound either stupid or confusing, but its annoying me, so here it goes...

every time i try to type in text, the font is so small that you cant see it. so i have to make my fonts 600+. this is ok for normal fonts, but for pixel fonts, it becomes a problem, because i can never seem to find the correct size. i've checked the vertical and horizontal scales of the text, and it all seems normal. i use Photoshop 7.0, if that helps.

i've been playing around with it for quite awhile, but finally caved and came to you wonderful people with my petty problem. ^^;
