Icon tutorial for PS7+

to for Photoshop because I was booored..

1. Your base picture.
2. Add this texture by inxsomniax. Soften it a bit with Gaussian Blur and then set it to screen at 100%.
3. Duplicate your base and drag it to the top. Set it to Soft Light at 67%.
4. Flood fill a new layer with black (#000000) and set it to Overlay at 100%.
5. Flood fill a new layer with #7480BA and set it to Color Burn at 100%. It's not very pretty right now, is it?
6. Flood fill another new layer with #FEFE52 and set it to Darken at 21%. It's still not pretty. We'll have to fix that soon.
7. Set this color texture by colorfilter to Screen at 100%.
8. Duplicate your base again and drag it to the top. Set it to Overlay at 100%.
9. Add this brush by september_icons in white (#FFFFFF) to a new layer set to Normal at 100% (or you can copy and paste that image and set it to Screen at 100%)
10. Flood fill a new layer with white (#FFFFFF) and set it to Soft Light at 100%
11. Duplicate your base one last time and drag it to the top. Set it to Color Burn at 100%.

There ya go! That should be everything. Experiment with this. I'd love to see what you come up with!
