IM A PHOTOSHOP NOOB!

I just crossed over into the photoshop world from PSP8. I got PHOTOSHOP PS and I'm so confused, I've heard that when you get the basics down paintshop pro and photoshop are pretty much the same. (effects wise). Yet I'm still confused. XO ok heres my newbie question. OOOOH! I'm a newbie again!

I just got a picture from the internet, I copied it but how do i put it into Photoshop? In psp you right-click and it says PASTE AS NEW IMAGE.

i looked through the memories, but i cant quite find a topic that would help.
