ok, ive looked through the memories and such, but i still have a question...

does anyone know how to adjust a photo that is kind of washed out? like if some of the features, like the nose arent very distinguishable. or if the flash was too bright? i know this is kind of vague, but i've tried a bunch of things myself, and i can't seem to make the picture look any better...
