[PS7] Problem filling a marquee - contents spilling out
I'm having a problem with filling inside a marquee. I selected everything, then modified the selection to a 1px border. Everything fine at this point. Create a new layer, and fill the border area with black (both by going to Edit -> Fill and using the paintbucket), and it's as if there's some kind of feathering going on. The 1px area selected has a nice black fill, but the 1px section just inside has a grey selection, which I don't want at all.
I usually get around this by just adding a 1px stroke to the image, but I want to make a more complex border at this point, with maybe three concentric 1px borders. I could do this by creating a 94x94 image to start with, then adding three strokes to the outside, but it seems like I should be able to fill in selections without the fill spilling out over the sides.
I've taken a screenshot of what it looks like, along with my settings for the fill tool. There don't seem to be any feathering options set; my marquee tool has feathering set to 1px, and the selection modifier for the border doesn't mention feathering.
