We'll turn this: into this:

Starting with this picture,
crop to this :

Now you can either use the flood fill tool or go to layer-new fill layer- solid color and use the color 0C1B31 or a similar dark blue. Set to 'difference'. You should get this:


Go to the base and duplicate it. Put it above the blue layer. Set to 'screen'.
You should have this:

Next take this gradient, made by me I think, and set to overlay.

You now should have this:

Get the color 0072BC. Now go to layer-new fill layer-gradient. Half should be 0072BC and half should be transparent. Set the angle to 58. Then set the gradient to 'saturation'. You should now have this:


Take this texture made by hisatomi found here. Set to 'lighten'.

Finally take a border brush made by killertofu found here at her icon journal lunchbox_icons and put it on in white. Then take the 'fragile' brush in this set made by me. Now we're done!
