Learn how to go from THIS to  

Firstly I started with my base, and cropped it, then sharpened it (Adjust ->> Sharness ->> Sharpen) I then resized my image to 96x96.

Because my image was already how I wanted it, I moved onto the next step, however you may want to desaturate yours and play around with its brightness/contrast levels...

Then I created a new layers and added the following colours with the following belnd modes

(#002441) --> Exclusion -->

(#445000)  --> Saturation Legacy -->

(#445000)  -- > Dodge -- >

Then duplicate your base image and bring it to the top and set it to Soft Light.

Duplicate your base image again, only this time set it to Hue Legacy

Next add border, Image ->> Add Borders...

Make sure its set to 1 pixels, the first border colour I added was #b2c549,

I then repeated this step using #353c0b

And then finally I add this brush  using #afb591, it was made by

adidaschica2323 and then your done!
