Veeery simple icon tut for PS 7 & up

So you've wondered how to get that greenish tint on icons? Look no further! Today, we're going from this
to this: Image hosted by Photobucket.com, using a cap found here!

Step oo1: C&P your image into a new file, crop it, resize it, ect.

Step oo2: Duplicate your base layer and desaturate (Shift+Ctrl+U). Then set the layer setting to screen.
Like this: Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Step oo3: Duplicate this layer, but instead, change the layer setting to "softlight." Go to Filter>blur>gaussian blur
Fill in these settings: Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Step oo4: Go back to your original layer and go to Filter>sharpen>sharpen. Repeat this step once more.

Step oo5: Hit Ctrl+a to select your entire image. Make sure all three layers are visible. Go to Edit>Copy Merged
(Looks like this: Image hosted by Photobucket.com )

Step oo6: Hit Ctrl+v to paste in your new layer. This layer should be what all your layers would be if you had merged them.
Like so: Image hosted by Photobucket.com Change the layer setting to Soft Light.

Step oo7: Beneath your newest layer, but above the rest, make a new layer. Change the layer setting to Exclusion. Floodfill it with #001F56.
(If you're confused, layers should be like this: Image hosted by Photobucket.com)

Step oo8: Make a new layer and bring the opacity down to 50%. Set your layer setting to Hard Light. Flood fill with #603811.

Step oo9: Go back to your screen layer. Make a new layer above it and use this gradient: Image hosted by Photobucket.com with the layer settings on Soft Light.
(Again, layer set up: Image hosted by Photobucket.com)

Step oo9: Go up to your top layer and make a new layer. Set the layer setting to Color Burn. Use this brush, made by me: Image hosted by Photobucket.com and using the colour: #603811.
(Alternatively, you can make a small circle with the shape tool, duplicate it, make it a bit bigger and repeat.)

Step o1o: To get a neat, 1px border, do the following:

Make a new layer, go to select>all, then select>modify>border 1px. Click ok, then flood fill with the colour you want.
To delete any excess, ctrl+shift+i to inverse the selection and hit delete a few times to clear it.
Deselect by hitting ctrl+d and then save.
