Kate Winslet tutorial
My first full icon tutorial!

This is similar to lady_maethoriel's, I just had to do it a different way.
Ok so first start off with this 100 x 100 and croped it to 70 x 70,
.
Then, Ctrl+N (New) and make a 100 x 100 plain. Copy the 70 x 70 and paste as New Layer. Now use you selection tool
and select the picture:
Then Selections > Modify > Expand
Ste it to 5. Now just chose a color and fill it in the space.
Now, here is where I changed it up. I cropped the picture and made another new 100 x 100, #1D7DB9.
Copy and paste as New Layer of Kate onto the 100 x 100. Use the move tool
to rotate the picture and place it in the corner.

Now you have your base to play around with. I used some textures and brushes from
outside_icons (all credits go to makers):
Overlay Opacity: 40
Soft light Opacity: 25
Overlay Opacity: 78
A little text and stuff....ta da! I hope this helps!
