Fanart Drawing

Hey. I'm usually helping give advice on icons, but this sort of reaches a new bounds . ..and i really dont know where else to look ...

I'm starting graphic art . .. but i was looking for tutorials on drawing in BOTH PSP and PS. And tips and tricks would be most helpful too . ..

i'm just starting out, and i really want to draw fanart. And make them into icons too, of course. I have tooooo many ideas. I can hand draw okay (as in using a pencil, anyways), but still . .. you know. :-\
