problem with brushes in PSP 9
I'm having a bit of a color issue with my brushes. I download these lovely colored brushes - like the first set here, for instance - which really don't work in monochrome. When I export them as custom brushes in PaintShop Pro 9, it's like they flatten or something. Whatever color I've selected for my paintbrush is the only color they show up in, and I can't get anything else. For text brushes this isn't a problem, but it causes issues with ones like those I linked to, or those nifty 'moving light' brushes. Any advice?
Edit: I see there's a similar question below, and I think I understand the answer, but that one makes it seem like the only solution is to just copy the image and paste it on a low opacity, rather than using a brush at all. Is that the only way to do it, or am I missing something else?
