Adobe Photoshop; Dark color tutorial
Just messing around in PS, neat effect, very dark. :D
This will be extrememly simple if you know your way around Photoshop. Any version will do, I think.

A few notes to help you out- the base I posted above the cut is after you adjust the brightness and contrast. I lost my original, sorry! ^^;
If you want, you can sharpen your desaturated image; I did.
The gradient there can be found pre-loaded into PS (Elements, at least) in the pastels section. If you don't have it, here's the gradient for you, just an image to paste.
The color burn layer is only 30% opacity. Everything else is 100%.
