Saving in PS CS

I'm getting really frustrated by Photoshop. Whenever I save something as a .png to upload online, I choose "Standard Windows Color" because that generally looks the best, but once I put it anywhere, online, in an email, etc., it automatically switches to "Uncompensated color," which looks really drained, bluish and less rich. It did this really bad on PS 5.5, but it seemed to improve since I switched to CS...but not anymore. Is there any way to fix it? I know it isn't my screen or internet. Sorry if this has been asked, the memories are down. :/
