Ok, I know I'm supposed to check the memories first but they're dead so here's my question: I followed a tut the other day about blending photos with the feathering tool (it was a picture of Yuna from Final fantasy-if that jogs anyone's memories) and in the tut the feathering seemed to extend the outline of the spot making it more transparent at the edges. I've been playing around with it and when I select feather it shrinks the highlighted bit rather than enlarging it. I'd like to do the effect in the tut but I need help, please.
