How to make this icon:



I use photoshop 6.0 but it is easy to translate.



Start with this template that I made

Or use your own. Make sure that it is transparent except for the black lines.

Find a picture to use now. I used this one .

Flip the picture horizontaly. Crop it as a square. Do not resize it yet. Drag it onto your template, resize it so that it is in the right part, lower the opacity just a little and erase/delete the parts that are outside of the center.

Make sure that at all times your template is the top layer. It makes things a lot easier.

You can change your brightness of your image if it too dark. I also sharpened it and blurred their skin a little.

Now find a picture of both people's eyes and crop them up, sharpen them, brighten them, desaturate them, whatever you like. Put them as a new layer on your icon and make sure they are below the template layer.

I put this texture on the icon as well. I put it at overlay, and erased all the parts that arent on the main picture. You can leave it over the eyes if you want, but I wanted those to be black and white. I don't know who made this texture, if you know comment.

Now you add text. I used rage italic. bold. Size 18 for the first letter and size 8 for the rest of the word. Now make a new layer and just scribble something on the text.

Now you have your final icon woo hoo
