Re: Comments and Complaints

Hi gang.

I never thought I'd be doing this much mod posting in so short a time! I hope to let this be the final say, and to be able to slip back into the wings where I belong.

If you have a complaint with a post, or with the community, please contact me directly. My userinfo is full of ways to reach me, and I have never let an icon_tutorial-related e-mail or comment sit without responding as promptly as I can (with, yes, the exception of affiliation requests, which I do all in a big batch every couple of weeks).

Posts to the community that complain about (a) a user or (b) a post will simply be deleted. Period.

As for posts you don't want to read: half the community doesn't have it on their friends' page. You don't have to either; use it as a resource when you need it. The point of this community is NOT to judge on quality! Therefore there are no stupid questions and no bad tutorials, rgardless of your personal taste. If you prefer an elite tutorial community, I understand there are several out there. The only place where my personal judgment on quality enters into things is where it comes to the archive; I try to archive only the most useful posts because an archive with too many things in it is just unwieldy and pointless.

Now please, can we all behave like adults and make this the end of our week of drama?
