Trouble with Animation

Hello the memories are down, which seems to be the case often on LJ. Anyway, I was wondering if someone could help me. I am trying to make an animation, I use PSP 9 and AS3. I am working with frames that are 115 x 126 and 1500 x 126 in size. The beginning of the animation features the smaller frames and I'm trying to add the larger frames by the copy and drag method. Doing that makes those frames the same size as all of the prior frames (115 x 126). I tried it the other way, adding the smaller frames before the larger ones and I get the same result, the smaller frames are put into larger ones (1500 x 126). Is there anyway that I can solve this problem??

I'd really appreciate any help.
