Macro's?

I've taken a look through the memories but I haven't found anything, then again I may just have missed it or not been looking under the right category so sorry if that is the case.

My question is about Macro's. Is it possible to make them in Photoshop? I would like to compile a set of instructions so that I can just click a button or something (I've never really used macro's before I just know the jist of it) and automatically go through them all, rather than having to manually do it. I know there's something so that you can do batch actions or something to a whole batch of images, but what I'm looking to do is record instructions to make one big action. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself very well here, but hopefully you can get an idea of what I'm ranting about, lol.

Anyways I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this. I don't know if it's even possible to do but it kind of seems like an essential thing that a program like PS7 (especially as it costs so much) would have.

EDIT: Oks, I'm all sorted. I looked in the help topics for Photoshop (I had looked there already but I hadn't found anything for Macro's) and was actually looking up 'anti-alias' when I came across 'Creating a new action'. So all is well and I know what to do now :D
