Animation question

Hey guys. I'm new to this comm and I have read through the memories and they are so useful to me, thanks for that =)

I use Photoshop CS. I have one question left unanswered. A friend of mine asked me how the animation to the word 'heart' is done in the following avartar and I have no clue, lol. I am very curious myself. Can it be done in Image Ready or is this done with Animation Shop?
