Problem with PowerDVd

So Ive been using PowerDVD since January but whenever I change the format from .bmp to .jpg I cant open the jpg image in PSP. Im not really sure if its a psp problem or a powerDVD problem. So Ive been converting all my caps to jpg through PSP so that I can put them on my site. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
