Hello! I haven't made a tutorial in a while, but I made an icon that I liked and decided to make it a tutorial. I use Photoshop Elements, but it should translate easily to other programs.
We will be making

I cropped
to 
and duplicated twice, then sharpened once.
Layer 2: Screen, 87%.
Layer 3: Desaturate and put it on Soft Light, 100%.
Layer 4:
by me, on Hard Light, 100%.
Layer 5: Duplicate the first layer again and drag it to the top and put it on Overlay, 100%.
Layer 6:
by me, on Screen, 75%, and I erased the part over her lips.
Layer 7: I coloured over her lips in #ED3D45 and set it to Overlay, 100%.
Layer 8: I used a brush in white and set it to Normal, 56%.
Layer 9: I wrote random stuff in Elegant, point 5, and left it at Normal, 100%.
Layer 10: I added a one pixel border in a colour from the picture [#4C5E50].
Then I merged and was done, with the final product as! I'd love feedback and to see what you came up with!
