Question
Okay, so please don't kill me for asking this. I have checked the tutorials on this, and found something that I thought would help, but when I did the steps required, it didn't work. So now I'm desperate, and annoyed, so I need help!
I am trying to download some brushes for PSP9. One of the sets that I found was an .abr file and an image pack. No problem, I thought, I'll just do what the tutorial said. Well.....when I tried to import, it said that the format was a newer format and not supported. I have heard of people having this problem, but the brushes I was trying to download were .jpg files, not exactly a new format. But I digress.
I was able to circumvent this whole frustrating process by opening the image in PSP9 and then creating a brush from it. The problem is that these textures were in color, and when I created them as brushes, they were black and white. I've also had to do this with other image packs that I've downloaded.
Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I bought my PSP9 from eBay, but it was a full unregistered version, so it appears totally legit. I'm just hoping that I didn't get some crap copy that's preventing me from doing this.
