Image Ready 7.0

I probably sound like an idiot for asking this but I really need help. I want to make an icon with a mini-movie in it. The problem I'm having is that when I open the .mpg it only shows the first frame. I've been able to open icons that already have the icon in them and see each frame but I can't with the video. Can someone tell me what to do when I get to
