Is there a limit to how many brushes you can have in PS? I've tried defining brushes from images in my PS 5.5, but the option just won't work.

edit: I opened PS back up again, and it won't let me do anything now. I can crop and resize, but I can't duplicate layers, or use any tools. What's going on? figured this last part out :D
