mini-movie problem
I searched through the memories and couldn't find an answer to this question, I'll feel like a real idiot if one is already there, but I have a question regarding mini-movie icons & Photoshop.
I made my first mini-movie icon using this tutorial.
I made it in Adobe Photoshop and animated it in Coffee Cup Animator. It seems that post people use Animation Shop, but I don't have that and I can't afford to go out and buy it. hah. So, I used what I have and I thought it worked fine.
I optimized each frame as I was saying it so that the file wouldn't be so huge, but after it was saved it still turned out to be 207kb. Yeah. I suppose I could throw out some of the frames, but I didn't think there were a lot of frames anyway. It looks shorter than most other mini-movies I have seen. I know the simple ways of getting it smaller (resizing it, making it black & white, etc) but I'd rather NOT do those things. I like the way it looks now.
But anyway, the other problem is that even though I set the speed the lowest it would go to make it go fairly quickly, it's still moving extremely slow.
Here's the icon:
I opened it in Image Ready after I read that other people used that, but I can't get either problem fixed using that one either. I don't want anyone to fix it FOR me, I'd like to know how to fix it myself or what I could have done while making it to decrease the size/speed it up. Thanks in advance!
